Embodiment Construction

[0029] Coconut leaf beetle mass propagation method of the present invention may further comprise the steps:

[0030] (1) Take the old coconut tree leaves that have not been sprayed, have no disease spots and pest damage in the field, and put them in a 4°C freezer for later use. An opening (110 mm x 40 mm) was made in the center of the lid of a sealed plastic fresh-keeping box (200 mm x 140 mm x 75 mm), and then sealed with a 200-mesh gauze to make an insect breeding box. The worm box is placed on the worm stand. The insect rack is made of universal angle steel, with a length of 2 m, a width of 0.6 m, and a height of 1.8 m. Each iron frame is divided into four layers, the bottom layer is 0.2 m above the ground, and the distance between each layer is 0.4 m. Each layer is equipped with a 40w fluorescent tube. The insect racks were placed in an insect culture room with a temperature of 24-27°C, a relative humidity of 75%±5%, and natural light.

Abstract

The invention discloses a brontispa longissima mass propagation method. The brontispa longissima in various states is fed under the conditions of the temperature of 24-27 DEG C, the relative humidity of 75 percent + / - 10 percent and the natural illumination. The method comprises the following steps of: cutting an unfolded coconut tree old leaf into small sections, bundling the sections into a small bundle and putting the bundle into a feeding box by using a rubber band, primarily hatching 500 pairs of brontispa longissima adults, and replacing the leaf once every three days, wherein the brontispa longissima begin to spawn after 10 days, removing the leaves with eggs, and putting the eggs into another feeding box in a centralized mode; hatching the eggs, putting coconut tree core leaves into the feeding box, wherein the primarily hatched larva eat the coconut tree core leaves and grow; feeding the larva with the age of more than two years by using the folded coconut tree old leaves, wherein the larva pupate within 25 days, and the larva are subjected to eclosion to form adult within 6 days; and entering the next-generation feeding and breeding. The coconut tree old leaves are used for feeding the adults and larva with the age of more than two years instead of the core leaves, the cost is reduced, and the brontispa longissima mass propagation method is easy and convenient to operate and practical and can continuously perform mass propagation on the brontispa longissima in various age states in a balanced mode.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for mass propagation of the cocoa beetle. Background technique [0002] Coconut heart leaf beetle Brontispa longissima Gestro is a major dangerous alien pest in my country. It belongs to Coleoptera (Coleoptera), Chrysomelidae (Chrysomelidae), and its Chinese translation names include coconut flat beetle, red chest leaf insect, coconut long leaf beetle, coconut palm flat leaf beetle, Coconut setae and red-breasted beetles. Native to Indonesia, the coco beetle has become a major pest of palm plants in the Asia-Pacific region for nearly 30 years. The pest feeds on the heart leaves of palm plants, causing the crown of the plant to wither, and in severe cases, the whole plant may die. In 2002, the cocoa beetle invaded my country's Hainan Province and caused a disaster, causing 90% of the coconut trees to be damaged, and the economic income of the majority of coconut tree growers was significantly affected. At present, in ...
