The DSRC system comprises a vehicle-mounted terminal and RSUs (road side units); the vehicle-mounted terminal is arranged in a vehicle; the RSUs are arranged on two sides of the road; the vehicle-mounted terminal comprises a CPU (central processing unit), a minicell, a vehicle-mounted wireless communication module, a wake-up circuit and a sleep circuit; the vehicle-mounted wireless communication module is electrically connected with the CPU; and the CPU is used for controlling the sleep circuit to start so as to make the vehicle-mounted terminal enter the sleep state. The vehicle-mounted terminal is controlled strictly to enter the work state only when communicating normally with the RSUs, and the vehicle-mounted terminal is kept in the sleep state all the way in the periods including the wrong wake-up period.
