Embodiment Construction

[0015] The insecticide and acaricide coating articles of the present invention are designed to control a variety of arthropods because of their ability to inhibit chitin synthesis, modulate insect juvenile hormones, and repel arthropods. These insecticide and acaricide coatings are characterized in that they contain at least the following compounds:

[0016]

[0017] All percentages herein are percentages by weight relative to the total weight of the composition, and they can be combined in any possible variation within the defined range.

[0018] In a preferred embodiment, the composition of the coating is as follows:

[0019]

[0020] The pesticides used are synthetic actives produced specifically for the formulation of pesticides for public health, animal health and plant health. Preferably, the insecticide is selected from organophosphates, carbamates, pyrethroids, neonicotinoids and phenylpyrazoles, or combinations thereof.

Abstract

The present invention relates to insecticide and acaricide coatings for controlling endemic diseases, pests and allergens, inhibiting chitin synthesis, regulating insect juvenile hormones and repelling arthropods, characterized in that said coatings contain at least the following compounds (in any combination), namely: 1%-100% water, 0.0001%-20% insecticide, 0.0001%-20% chitin inhibitor, 0.0001%-20% juvenile hormone regulator , 1%-50% polymer, 0%-40% pigment, 0%-60% filler, 0%-60% natural repellent and 0.01%-20% stabilizer. This is a new, improved and enhanced formulation for the control of various arthropods (insects, mites), both chemically, as the formulation incorporates synthetic insecticides, and biologically, Because it contains insect growth regulators. Furthermore, the active ingredient is incorporated in the form of a natural arthropod repellant, which keeps said arthropods at a certain distance from the place where the paint is applied. The coating composition allows encapsulation of active ingredients in water-based polymers with or without the incorporation of fillers and pigments, thus expanding its range of applications.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of coatings, especially coatings with insecticide and acaricide properties for the control of endemic diseases, pests and allergens. Background technique [0002] Paints with insecticide action are known on the market (EP871011308-2; FR8601516; US010300, CA528968). However, these inventions have some significant drawbacks for their general application: [0003] · These paints contain obsolete active ingredients that do not belong to the new generation, [0004] Some of these active ingredients (e.g. organochlorines) are currently banned in the EU due to their toxicity, [0005] • Use of active ingredients such as traditional pyrethroids, which have no residual properties and have little potency over time. [0006] Application GB2142239 describes the use of insecticides in the formulation of paints, and application US2006029630 describes the use of natural repellents for insects and arthropods in paints. ...
