Abstract

Pyrotechnic compositions are used as a heat source and a power source of the extinguishment composition, by igniting the pyrotechnic compositions, the extinguishment composition is heated by high-temperature heat generated during combustion of the pyrotechnic compositions to be subjected to decomposition reaction, large quantities of substances capable of extinguishing fire are generated, and the extinguishment substances and the pyrotechnic compositions are ejected via a nozzle of a fire extinguishing apparatus, so that the purpose of extinguishing the fire is achieved. The extinguishment composition is simple in composition, stable in performance, easy to store for a long time and excellent in environment-friendly performance, and is non-toxic.
