The method further comprises the following steps: detecting leakage current of the automobile storage battery when the automobile flames out; and finally outputting the detection, calculation and judgment results. The invention also provides an FPGA-based online automobile storage battery state monitoring device for implementing the method. By the FPGA-based online automobile storage battery state monitoring method and device disclosed by the invention, the voltage, the remaining capacity, the leakage current and the power consumption in a flameout state of the automobile storage battery can be monitored on line, the performance of the automobile storage battery and whether a generator works normally or not can be judged, the potential safety risks of the automobile can be effectively reduced, and the use risk of the automobile can be lowered.
