Abstract

The invention aims at providing an intelligent optical network exchange device and an edge cashing method facing content center. The exchange device comprises a content server, a content information database, a redirection address database, a content center distribution database, an inter-domain route calculating unit and the like. The device conducts complementation on a control plane of an intelligent optical network under the condition that inter-domain route work and resource transmission are required in the optical network to achieve content management of domain granularity. The device selectively configures content servers distributed at the near end of the domain to conduct relay of content by judging ratio of the requested times of the content in a given domain occupied in the whole network requested times. The device achieves intelligent redistribution of high frequency requested contents in the network, pushes the content to the edge to the largest extent, remarkably reduces backbone network load, remarkably reduces long distance content transmission times, improves network utilization efficiency and achieves high-efficiency transmission of the content.
