Abstract

The invention provides a method and a system for expanding the spectral measurement range of a spectrograph. The method includes generating two or more beams of parallel lights by using a segmentation spherical mirror, enabling the parallel lights to be emitted into a grating at different angles, obtaining different diffraction wavelength ranges within the same diffraction angle range, placing the normal of two or more spherical mirrors through segmentation with a small inclination angle relative to a sagittal surface upwards and downwards respectively to obtain two or more sections of spectrum staggered up and down; and mounting two or more gratings at different angles to enable the parallel lights emitting the grating to be emitted into the grating at different angles, obtaining different diffraction wavelength ranges within the same diffraction angle range, placing the normal of two or more gratings through segmentation with a small inclination angle relative to the sagittal surface upwards and downwards respectively to obtain two or more sections of spectrum staggered up and down and probed by a probe.
