The invention discloses a rotation-type on-line viscometer which comprises a shell (15), wherein the lower part of an inner cavity of the shell (15) is provided with an isolation panel (11); the isolation panel (11) separates the inner cavity of the shell (15) into a driving chamber (4) and a measuring chamber (9) in mutual isolation; the driving chamber (4) is internally provided with a driving motor (1), a signal detecting mechanism and a signal processing circuit (16); the driving motor (1) is connected with one end of a rotary main shaft (3) through a speed reduction mechanism (2), and the other end of the rotary main shaft (3) is fixedly provided with a magnetic force conducting head (5); the measuring chamber (9) is internally provided with a viscosity detecting head (7) which is opposite to the magnetic force conducting head (5) and rotates synchronously; the magnetic force conducting head (5) is internally provided with a driving magnet (6), the polarity of which is contrary to that of a driven magnet (8) arranged in the viscosity detecting head (7); and through holes are formed in the side wall of the shell (15) at the position of the measuring chamber (9).
