Abstract

The invention relates to a method for measuring content of benzo-a-pyrene in mainstream smoke of cigarettes, which is characterized by comprising the following steps of: catching mainstream smoke by adopting a Cambridge filter; carrying out cyclohexane oscillation extraction on a sample; carrying out solid-phase extraction on extraction liquid by a silica gel column; collecting filtrate and eluent; carrying out rotary evaporation at a temperature of 40 DEG C to a nearly dry state; redissolving the obtained product into 1mL of acetonitrile; introducing a liquid chromatography-atmospheric pressure photoionization-tandem mass spectrometer to carry out measurement so as to accurately detect the content level of the benzo-a-pyrene in the mainstream smoke of the cigarettes. According to the invention, due to adoption of a manner of using a perylene standard substance as an internal standard for qualifying analyte, an error caused in the process of preprocessing the sample can be reduced; tandem mass spectrometry further improves selectivity and accuracy of the method; and an atmospheric pressure photoionization ion source can well ionize a benzo-a-pyrene compound with low polarity. For a cigarette smoke sample with a complex matrix, a dopant, a tandem mass spectrum and the perylene internal standard are quantitatively used, so that selectivity and sensitivity of the method can be effectively improved.
