Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of engineering construction, and particularly relates to a road asphalt material widely applied to public roads and bridges. The warm-mix environment-friendly asphalt comprises 0.1%-6% of a polyethylene-polypropylene copolymer and the balance of 70# asphalt and 90# asphalt. The processing technique comprises the following steps of: heating matrix asphalt to 130-160 DEG C; proportionally adding the polyethylene-polypropylene copolymer to the heated matrix asphalt, and agitating the copolymer and the matrix asphalt for 0.5-2 hours for development, thus producing the finished product; and detecting the indexes, including a national index III-D and a PD index, of the finished product. The warm-mix environment-friendly asphalt has a good temperature-viscosity curve, and is energy-saving and environment-friendly; and compared with an original product, the warm-mix environment-friendly asphalt has the advantages that the production cost can be greatly reduced, and the performance is higher than that of an original American road construction standard (PG) product of the same type.
