[0036] A silver paste according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention includes an organic vehicle, glass powder, and silver-containing material powder. The silver-containing material powder may be one of silver powder, organometallic silver compound powder or silver oxide powder. In particular, the silver paste of the present invention further comprises a silver microcrystal precipitation promoter in an amount of about 0.01-0.6% by weight of the silver paste. Thereby, when the silver paste of the present invention is used to manufacture the front electrode of the photovoltaic module, a large amount of silver microcrystals are precipitated at the interface between the interface glass layer and the silicon wafer, and there are also a large amount of nanometer crystals in the interface glass layer. The precipitation of silver particles improves the overall efficiency of the photovoltaic module manufactured by using the silver paste of the present invention.
