Abstract

The invention relates to silver paste and an application of the silver paste to manufacturing of a photovoltaic assembly. The silver paste comprises an organic carrier, glass powder and silver-containing material powder which is silver powder, organic metal silver compound powder or silver oxide powder, especially the silver paste further comprises a silver micro-crystallization separation accelerant, wherein the weight percentage of the silver micro-crystallization separation accelerant to the silver paste is 0.01-0.6%. Compared with the prior art, the silver and the application of the silver paste to the manufacturing of the photovoltaic assembly, disclosed by the invention, have the advantages that when the silver paste is used for manufacturing a front-surface electrode of the photovoltaic assembly, a great amount of silver micro-crystal separates out in a joint between an interface glass layer and a silicon wafer, and a large number of nanometer silver particles also separate out in the interface glass layer, so that the integral efficiency of the photovoltaic assembly manufactured by utilizing the silver paste disclosed by the invention is improved.
