The water supply pipe with the built-in thermal-insulation layer mainly comprises an inner plastic layer, an outer plastic layer and a thermal-insulation layer and is characterized in that the inner plastic layer and the outer plastic layer are both made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) or PE (polyethylene); the thermal-insulation layer is made of cotton thread; multiple cotton threads of the thermal-insulation layer can be used according to the requirement of the pipe diameter and are spirally wound on the inner thermal-insulation layer; and the outer thermal-insulation layer is arranged out of the cotton threads of the thermal-insulation layer by hot pressing. The water supply pipe with the built-in thermal-insulation layer, which is provided by the invention, keeps the advantages of the traditional water supply pipe and has the advantages of strong toughness and strength, low cost and convenience in manufacture, the temperature of flowing hot water can be prevented from easily losing, and the inner hot water is prevented from being frozen by outer cold.
