Abstract

The invention discloses a liquid crystal display panel and a liquid crystal display using the liquid crystal display panel. The liquid crystal display panel comprises an active component array substrate, an opposite-direction substrate, a liquid crystal layer and a supporting part. The active component array substrate comprises a first substrate, scanning lines, data lines, pixel units and repairing lines. The first substrate is provided with a visible range and a peripheral range around the visible range, the scanning lines, the data lines and the pixel units are positioned in the visible range, and the pixel units are electrically connected with the scanning lines and the data lines. The repairing lines are configured in the peripheral range, and an interlacing position is formed by the scanning lines or the data lines and the corresponding repairing lines in an overlapping mode. The opposite-direction substrate is configured on the active component array substrate and comprises a second substrate, an insulating layer and a conducting layer, wherein the insulating layer is configured on the second substrate, and the conducting layer is configured on the insulating layer. The liquid crystal layer is configured between the active component array substrate and the opposite-direction substrate, and the supporting part is configured in at least one of the interlacing position and the adjacent area of the interlacing position. The repairing success rate of the liquid crystal display can be improved.
