Embodiment Construction

[0051] The specific implementation manners of the present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and embodiments.

[0052] S1, the channel matrix is sorted based on the Gram matrix of the channel;

[0053] The modulus of the column vector in the Gram matrix of the channel is used as the basis for measuring the reliability of the channel, and the modulus of the column vector is arranged in ascending order, and then the sorting of the channel matrix is realized.

[0054] The channel matrix sorting applied to the FSD algorithm or the OSIC (Ordered Successive Interference Cancellation) algorithm requires the inversion of the Gram matrix, but in the low-rank multi-antenna system, the inverse of the matrix does not exist , directly using the modulus of the column vector can solve this problem. After the channel matrix is sorted, the detection order of the transmitted signals is changed, thereby improving the performan...

Abstract

The invention provides a sphere decoding method and a sphere decoder which are applicable to an underdetermined multi-antenna system. The sphere decoding method includes: sequencing signal channel matrixes according to a Gram matrix of channels; subjecting the Gram matrix obtained by the sequenced channel matrixes to eigenvalue decomposition, correcting the Gram matrix according to the eigenvalue decomposition, and calculating initial estimation of transmitted signals and an upper triangular matrix required by a tree search by means of the corrected Gram matrix; dividing a tree structure according to the eigenvalue structure of the corrected Gram matrix and obtaining an alternative path set through the tree search; calculating log-likelihood ratio on the basis of the alternative path set to obtain estimation of a transmission vector. By the sphere decoding method, limitation of the underdetermined Gram matrix in algorithms is overcome, detection performance can approximate to the optimum algorithm while algorithm complexity is evidently reduced, and balance between performance and complexity is achieved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of digital information processing, in particular to a sphere decoding method and a sphere decoder suitable for an underdetermined multi-antenna system. Background technique [0002] Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) technology can significantly improve channel capacity and spectrum efficiency in a rich scattering environment. After it was proposed, it has been extensively studied by the academic community and has attracted widespread attention in the industry. [0003] An under-determined multi-antenna (Under-determined MIMO, UD-MIMO) system refers to a MIMO system in which the number of antennas at the transmitting end is greater than the number of antennas at the receiving end. Under some common code rates, this MIMO system can transmit the same data rate with lower energy consumption by increasing the number of antennas and reducing the modulation order used. In addition, due to the increase in the n...
