The detection tool assembly is formed by a cam shaft hole core rod, an engine oil pump hole no-go gauge core rod, an engine oil pump hole go gauge core rod and a detection flat plate, wherein the diameters of three measuring convex rings on the cam shaft hole core rod are the same as the size of the outer diameter of a cam shaft; the diameter of one end of the engine oil pump hole go gauge core rod is calculated by a distance allowance below nominal size from the center of the cam shaft to the center of an engine oil pump on the diesel engine cylinder body; and the diameter of one end of the engine oil pump hole no-go gauge core rod is calculated by a distance allowance above nominal size from the center of the cam shaft to the center of the engine oil pump on the diesel engine cylinder body.
