Abstract

The invention discloses a method for manufacturing a 13MnNiMo5-4 drum forged piece for a boiler drum, wherein the 13MnNiMo5-4 drum forged piece is not less than 2000mm in outer diameter, not less than 1500mm in inner diameter and not less than 2500mm in length. The method includes the steps: firstly, blank forging; secondly, heat treatment after forging; thirdly, property heat treatment. The 13MnNiMo5-4 drum forged piece is made by integrally forging a steel ingot which is made by vacuum smelting, and then subjected to an air-cooling quenching heating process. Compared with a conventional drum made of a steel plate by means of roll welding, the drum forged piece for the boiler drum has the advantages that the mechanical property is superior to similar steel plate rolled products and has no evident anisotropy, a longitudinal welding joint is reduced, and safety margin of whole equipment can be improved.
