Abstract

The invention provides a gearbox fault diagnosis method and device. The method includes the steps that (1) denosing is carried out on vibration signal data of a gearbox by means of a wavelet denosing method, (2) multi-scale wavelet decomposition is carried out on denoised vibration signals to obtain decomposition graphs of different decomposition scale signals, (3) multi-scale wavelet reconstruction is carried out to obtain a low-frequency reconstruction signal and a high-frequency reconstruction signal, (4) the low-frequency reconstruction signal is compared with a low-frequency reconstruction signal which is obtained in advance in a fault-free state in the same scale, and if the two low-frequency reconstruction signals are different and the difference tends to be larger, it is judged that a fault tendency exists. By means of the method and device, multi-fault gearbox fault diagnosis can be carried out easily and effectively, reliability of a whole fan is improved, operation and maintenance cost of the whole fan is reduced, and profit time of the fan is prolonged.
