Abstract

The invention discloses a positioning method based on a WiFi wireless network. The positioning method comprises offline stage processing and online stage processing. The offline stage processing is that signal intensity of reference points is acquired and stored in a database so that a fingerprint database is acquired. The online stage processing is that weight is arranged according to instability of WiFi signal intensity, candidate ranges are limited according to moving tracks of moving objects, and positions of the moving objects are confirmed in combination with the fingerprint database. When the moving objects are positioned, instability of WiFi signal intensity and the moving tracks of the moving objects are fully considered so that a problem of low positioning accuracy caused by instability of WiFi signal intensity is solved, and thus positioning accuracy is enhanced.
