Abstract

The objective of the invention is to increase information amount that can be wirelessly transferred per frequency band in a dual-channel wireless communication system. A wireless communication system comprises a transmitter (10) and a receiver (30). The transmitter (10) comprises: a baseband circuit (12) for outputting information signals; a frequency converter circuit (20-1) for converting the frequency of the output signals to the band of a frequency f1; a frequency converter circuit (20-2) for converting the frequency of the output signals to the band of a frequency f2; and transmission antennas (15-1, 15-2) for transmitting the output signals of the frequency converter circuits (20-1, 20-2), respectively, as electromagnetic waves. The receiver (30) comprises: a reception antenna (31) for receiving the electromagnetic waves transmitted by the transmitter (10); and a converter circuit (32) that samples the received signals by use of a sampling frequency fs, which is obtained by adding the frequencies f1 and f2 together and further dividing the sum by any one of odd numbers, and then demodulates the sampled received signals into the information signals.
