The topology analysis method comprises the processes of bus topology, node topology and dynamic topology on the basis of a data structure. According to the bus topology process, buses are numbered, a section connection array is established, and depth-first search is carried out on a power distribution network with a balance bus as an initial point on the basis of input data. According to the node topology process, nodes are numbered, and a network node admittance matrix is established. According to the dynamic topology, the node admittance matrix is made to track changes of an electrical power system. The method can process the network topology of the power distribution network of a looped network, multiphase lines and dynamic topology, and solves the problems confronted by topology analysis of the power distribution network crossing the voltage grades.
