Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a transmission and display method and system for high-capacity data. Therefore, a problem of long transmission time of large volumes of data can be solved. The method comprises: trigger information of a client is sent to a server side, wherein the trigger information is used for generating a seed; when the server side transmits server side data to the client, the client receives a certain seed from the server side, wherein the certain seed is generated by using a random function by the server side according to the trigger information; and the client carries out calculation to obtain certain high-capacity data based on the certain seed and displays the certain high-capacity data, wherein the capacity of the certain seed is less than that of the certain high-capacity data and the certain seed and the certain high-capacity data form a unique mapping relation. Because the capacity of the seed is low, only short time is needed for seed receiving from the server side; and the lots of data are obtained by calculation based on the seed at the client, thereby saving time for transmission of lots of data.
