Abstract

The invention discloses a CDN (content delivery network) node and a CDN service system. In a home environment, the CDN node can be modified on the basis of an electronic device in use, such as a set top box, a router and the like. The router intrinsically has a function of wired or wireless data transmission through a network; further, the router is always online in real time and capable of providing network service for users; preferably, the CDN node can be obtained by modification on the basis of the router. When data are downloaded by the users, the data can be simultaneously downloaded from edge nodes and a plurality of CDN nodes, a used bandwidth is equivalent to superposition of bandwidths in data downloading of multiple nodes, and accordingly access speed is increased due to increase of data downloading bandwidth. Taking the router as the CDN node can reduce cost, and owing to a storage function of the CDN node, data needed to be accessed by the users are pushed to the CDN node in advance to avoid delay resulted from access of a server.
