Abstract

The invention discloses application of (3E,5E)-1-methyl-3-(3,4-dimethoxy benzylidene)-5-(3-indomethylene)-piperidin-4-one as an autophagic inducer. In experiments, related experiments are mainly utilized to prove the application of (3E,5E)-1-methyl-3-(3,4-dimethoxy benzylidene)-5-(3-indomethylene)-piperidin-4-one in induction of autophagy of A549 cells or vascular endothelial cells. Cell morphological variation tests observed by an inverted phase contrast microscope, intracellular acid vesicular aggregation tests observed by a fluorescence microscope and protein southern northern blotting tests sufficiently prove the effect of (3E,5E)-1-methyl-3-(3,4-dimethoxy benzylidene)-5-(3-indomethylene)-piperidin-4-one in inducing A549 cells and vascular endothelial cells.
