The method is characterized by comprising the steps of acquiring haze-free clean driving scene video; calculating atmosphere radiance value information and a depth information matrix corresponding to each frame image in the driving scene video according to a dark channel prior based single-image defogging algorithm; acquiring a haze image model equation according to an atmospheric scattering model, and generating each frame image into a corresponding image with the haze effect according to the haze image model equation, the depth information matrix, the atmosphere radiance value information and preset haze concentration parameters; and synthesizing all of the images with the haze effect into the driving scene video with the haze effect. The method and the system disclosed by the invention realize quick addition of the haze effect to the driving scene video while ensuring good simulation effects, and is high in haze simulation confidence, fast in addition and easy to implement.
