Aiming at the protection intelligent center used as a back-up protection strategy of a whole hub substation group, improvement is made on common routing algorithms for the substation system. The topology of the substation system is established by making use of communication between the protection intelligent center and surrounding hub substations; the hub substations acquire and uses the topology to make judgment on information transmission failure and upload a judging result; and the protection intelligent center updates the network topology according to the judging result, searches candidate paths among the hub substations, and determines a preferred information transmission path between two hub substations under the constraints of the reliability and information delay of information transmission paths. High-speed communication of the substation system based on the protection intelligent center is fully utilized, and the reliability of the hub substation system is greatly improved.
