Embodiment Construction

[0029] For more clarity, in figure 1 and image 3 The vertical coordinate system (x, y, z) is shown in , where:

[0030] - the x-axis corresponds to the direction parallel to the main longitudinal axis of the aircraft, typically the elongated fuselage of the aircraft, said axis corresponding to the front (nose) and rear (tail) of the aircraft ), which is generally substantially horizontal when the aircraft is resting on the ground;

[0031] - the y-axis is a transverse axis orthogonal to the x-axis, which is also generally horizontal when the aircraft is resting on the ground, and is typically parallel to the plane of the aircraft's wings;

[0032] - the z-axis, which is orthogonal to the x- and y-axes and is therefore generally substantially vertical.

[0033] The aircraft A, in this case an airplane, generally has one or more retractable landing gear TA. The landing gear is stowed in flight in the space enclosed by the door, and is typically equipped in a space such as ...

Abstract

A device for concomitant opening or closing of two flaps of a door of an aircraft retractable landing gear. The device comprises a single actuating means for the opening or the closing of the two flaps under the effect of its extension or of its retraction. The actuating means comprises a first end linked to the structure of the aircraft, and a movable part. The device comprises a swinging arm comprising a first end linked by a pivot to the structure, and a second end linked to the movable part of the actuating means by a link having a degree of rotational freedom about an axis parallel to the axis of the pivot. The second end of the swinging arm is furthermore respectively linked to a first tie rod linked to a first of the two flaps, and to a second tie rod linked to a second of the two flaps.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an opening or closing device for simultaneously opening or closing two flaps of a retractable undercarriage of an aircraft. More specifically, the invention relates to a device that can be used to ensure the opening or closing of a landing gear door having two flaps, such as the door normally used for the nose gear of an aircraft. Background technique [0002] In conventional manner, the retractable landing gear of an aircraft is retractable into a space which can be closed in flight by one or more flaps forming a door. It is known to actuate the flaps to open or close them by means of actuating means, such as hydraulic cylinders. Each baffle may be provided with an actuator. [0003] However, in order to open the two flaps, in particular the two constituent flaps of a two-flap hatch, this solution entails a certain doubling of the number of parts, since two actuators and two associated Linked opening / closing mechanism. Thi...
