The dental pulp opening method includes: intercepting an image of a middle position of a diseased tooth from a computed tomography slice containing a target tooth, and acquiring a three-dimensional model of the target tooth through segmenting calculation of an image slice; dividing out a root canal of the target tooth from a CT image from the target tooth, and separating out an upper-section root canal in preset length; extracting a central line of the divided root canal, and calculating a crossing point of the center and the three-dimensional model of the target tooth; taking the crossing point of the center and the three-dimensional model of the target tooth as a reference point to analyze and adjust position of a cutting-in point according to a specific image, and utilizing a navigation system to finally determine pulp opening position of the target tooth. By the dental pulp opening method and device, removing of a whole roof of a pulp chamber is not needed while position of the root canal can be found more accurately, and diameter of a pulp opening port is reduced remarkably while dentin of the side wall of the pulp chamber is preserved to greatest extent.
