Abstract

The invention discloses a planting method for phyllostachys praecox. The planting method comprises the following steps of (1) selecting a land, i.e., selecting sandy soil which is exposed to the sun, is loose and is good in drainage property and adjusting the pH value of the soil to 6-7; (2) cultivating the land, i.e., carrying out deep tillage for 30-40 cm and digging holes which are 50-60 cm long, 50-60 cm wide and 55-65 cm deep; (3) selecting mother bamboo; (4) dig the parent bamboo out; (5) planting the parent bamboo, i.e., planting the parent bamboo into the land holes, watering the parent bamboo till the soil is fully watered, and then covering the holes with a plastic thin film; and (6) applying fertilizer, i.e., after planting, applying the fertilizer every 3-4 months, for 4 times totally, wherein organic green manure is applied at the first and second times and 100-250 kg of the green manure is applied per mu (a unit of area); 800-1000 kg of fermented barnyard manure is applied at the third time; and 200-300 kg of fertilizer cakes is applied at the fourth time. The planting method is simple and is low in cost. The planted phyllostachys praecox is high in survival rate and the survival rate can reach 95% or over 95%.
