Embodiment Construction

[0023] The present invention will be further described below with reference to the accompanying drawings and in combination with preferred embodiments.

[0024] When the hologram is calculated and generated based on the point source method, the visual object is composed of many point light source points, and each object point independently emits spherical waves, and the light field propagated to the hologram plane by each object point is calculated separately, and finally all are superimposed The light field of the object point, generating a hologram.

[0025] The light field on the holographic plane calculated by the traditional point source method can be expressed as:

[0026] I ( x i , y i ) = Σ j = 1 N A ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a computed hologram generation method for a three-dimensional point cloud model. The computed hologram generation method comprises the steps of: (1) reading three-dimensional coordinate original data of object points of the three-dimensional point cloud model, and numbering the object points; (2) appending a preset hologram recording distance to a Z coordinate of each object point; (3) taking the Z coordinates of the object points as a major loop condition, and establishing a two-dimensional blank surface patch in each loop; (4) traversing all the object points, finding out the object points with Z coordinates equivalent to the Z coordinate of the object point of the current loop, and correspondingly mapping the object points onto the two-dimensional blank surface patch to generate a two-dimensional surface patch containing point clout model information; (5) calculating an optical field on a hologram plane corresponding to the two-dimensional surface patch by adopting an FFT-based method; (6) and repeating the steps from (3) to (5), and superposing the optical fields obtained in the loops to obtain a computed hologram. By applying the computed hologram generation method, the computational amount of the computed hologram can be reduced, thereby avoiding the waste of a significant amount of time required by a point source method and saving the extra storage space occupied by a look-up table.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of computational holography, in particular to a method for generating a computational hologram of a three-dimensional point cloud model. Background technique [0002] In recent years, three-dimensional (3d) displays have become increasingly more popular. Compared with other stereoscopic display technologies, holographic display technology can not only provide horizontal and vertical parallax, but also give people a sense of depth. It is a true three-dimensional display technology. Compared with traditional optical holography, computational holography can not only display real objects, but also virtual objects simulated by software. However, computational holograms also have disadvantages. One of the main disadvantages is the large amount of calculation, which leads to slow generation of computational holograms, and it is difficult to realize real-time dynamic reproduction. [0003] In order to realize the real-time ...
