Abstract

The invention provides an automatic testing method for the serial port of equipment to be tested. The method comprises the following steps: outputting a selection command in order to select a network protocol relevant to the equipment to be tested under test; outputting a testing command and detecting whether or not the equipment to be tested is in a normal state; if so, executing a next step; otherwise, outputting an abnormity prompt; calling a serial port command and a serial port parameter corresponding to the network protocol relevant to the equipment to be tested, and issuing the serial port command to the equipment to be tested to obtain a running result of the equipment to be tested after execution of the serial port command; judging whether or not the running result of the equipment to be tested is consistent with a pre-stored testing result after execution of the serial port command, and if so, executing first testing operation; and otherwise, executing second testing operation, and acquiring a testing result relevant to the serial port parameter according to the first testing operation and the second testing operation. Through adoption of the automatic testing method, all commands of the network protocol relevant to the equipment to be tested can be tested intensively; the systematicness and integrity of testing verification are ensured; manual traversing is not required; the labor force is reduced; and the cost is saved.
