Abstract

The invention discloses a stop valve with the flow regulating function. The stop valve comprises a valve body, a valve seat, a valve element, a valve rod and an operation mechanism. The valve body comprises an inlet channel, an outlet channel and a valve cavity through which the inlet channel and the outlet channel are communicated. The valve seat is installed in the valve cavity and a water stop disc is arranged in a through cavity of the valve seat. The water stop disc comprises a first water stop sheet and a second water stop sheet which are matched with each other so that the through cavity of the valve seat is divided into a first flow channel and a second flow channel. A through hole is further formed in the water stop disc. The valve element comprises a mandrel, a first valve plate and a second valve plate. The mandrel is located in the through hole. A covering face of the first valve plate is matched with the circulation section of the first flow channel. A covering face of the second valve plate is matched with the circulation section of the second flow channel. One end of the valve rod is connected with the operation mechanism and the other end of the valve penetrates the through cavity of the valve seat to be fixedly connected with the mandrel. By the adoption of the stop valve, a rotary opening and closing cut-off manner is adopted for replacing a vertical cut-off manner in the prior art, and therefore the flow of a medium can be conveniently regulated.
