By using fast response characteristics of a vehicle control unit and a motor (3), the motor (3) is controlled to adjust the rotation speed of an input shaft of the AMT (4) according to a gear shifting control need so that the motor (3) provides assistance to the AMT (4) during shifting the gear. The gear-shifting control method comprises the following steps of judging a gear, judging a state of a clutch (2), leaving the vehicle in a neutral gear, selecting a gear, engaging the gear and entering a driving working condition. The synchronization time of the rotation speed of an engine (1) and the rotation speed of the AMT (4) is reduced, the power interruption time is obviously reduced, the gear shifting comfort is improved, the wear of a synchronizer is reduced and the service life of the synchronizer is prolonged.
