The invention relates to a housing (GH) for a circuit assembly (SR), having a housing interior chamber (GI), a partition wall (TW) which is impermeable to electromagnetic radiation and which divides the housing interior chamber (GI) spatially into a first housing interior chamber partial region (GT1) and a second housing interior chamber partial region (GT2), wherein the first housing interior chamber partial region (GT1) is configured to receive a first electrical component (FE) designed as a filter component and the second housing interior chamber partial region (GT2) is configured to receive a second electrical component (BE), a cover plate (AP) which is impermeable to electromagnetic radiation and a housing section (GA) which is impermeable to electromagnetic radiation and which is directly adjacent to the first housing interior chamber partial region (GT1), wherein the partition wall (TW), the cover plate (AP) and the housing section (GA) enclose the first housing interior chamber partial region (GT1) in three dimensions, creating a complete electromagnetic shielding of the first housing interior chamber partial region (GT1) from the second housing interior chamber partial region (GT2).
