Abstract

The invention discloses an adjustable double wedge disc which is characterized by comprising a valve rod, a left wedge disc, a right wedge disc, a central supporting ball, a wedge disc fork and a retainer, wherein the retainer is arranged inside a valve body; the lower end of the valve rod is connected with the upper part of the retainer; the upper part of the retainer is connected with the wedge disc fork; the left wedge disc and the right wedge disc are arranged between each of the wedge discs and the lower part of the retainer; and the central supporting ball supports against the left wedge disc and the right wedge disc and is respectively in spherical contact with the left wedge disc and the right wedge disc. The left wedge disc and the right wedge disc are supported by the central supporting ball and central supporting seats within the ranges of the retainer and the wedge disc fork, and the wedge discs can rotate around the central supporting ball according to valve seat and valve body deformation caused by temperature and load to ensure that the sealing surface of each wedge disc is coincided with the sealing surface of a valve seat, so that the sealing performance is ensured, and the phenomenon of wedging or clamping caused by overhigh stress between each wedge disc and the valve seat is avoided.
