Abstract

The invention provides a cognitive MTD radar waveform design method comprising the following steps: (1) first, establishing an MTD radar echo signal model in a signal-related clutter environment, and putting forward a model of a waveform optimization problem based on the signal-clutter-noise ratio (SCNR) maximization criterion; (2) then, carrying out coding design, and converting the non-convex optimization model into a convex optimization model; (3) further getting a simplified model through the assumption on the environment, namely, under white noise; and (4) finally, solving the model by use of an optimal coding method based on simple gradient. According to the invention, the signal-clutter-noise ratio SCNR non-convex optimization problem is converted into an easy-to-process convex optimization problem; the model is solved by use of the optimal coding method based on simple gradient, so that the echo SCNR can be effectively improved through slow time-domain coding; and the method has the characteristics of less computation and good real-time performance.
