Abstract

The invention discloses a method for detecting defect positions on radial sections of trees. According to the method, the surface of a tested tree respectively undergoes four times of sensor fixing operations; all the fixed sensors are respectively connected to a stress wave detector, and the stress wave detector is connected to a PC; a pulse hammer is used to knock on a stress wave signal emission sensor; stress wave propagation time data is acquired by the PC; stress wave propagation speed data is calculated; the stress wave propagation speed data is respectively compared with health reference value of the tested tree to judge the stress wave propagation speed data is abnormal data or normal data; and finally, a stress wave signal propagation route map is drawn, and an initial stress wave signal propagation route undergoes primary and secondary treatments. The obtained stress wave signal propagation route map can show defect positions on the radial section of the tree. By the method, defect positions on the radial section of the tree can be rapidly and accurately detected, and the experiment operation is convenient. The method has a good guidance effect on detection of defects inside trees.
