The air conditioner indoor unit comprises a surface frame with an air outlet, an air guiding plate movably connected to the surface frame and covering the air outlet, a control plate arranged inside the surface frame, a step motor electrically connected with the control plate, and a first turbulent plate and a second turbulent plate which are fixedly connected with the step motor, wherein the first turbulent plate and the second turbulent plate are further rotationally connected onto the surface frame; the step motor rotates the first turbulent plate or the second turbulent plate to the air outlet so as to cover the air outlet under the control of the control plate; first spray holes are formed in the first turbulent plate and second spray holes with diameters and sizes different from those of the first spray holes are formed in the second turbulent plate so as to adjust airflow speed at the air outlet. The invention further discloses a control method of an air conditioner.
