Abstract

The invention discloses a high-voltage discharge method and circuit used for a motor controller, and an electric vehicle equipped with the circuit. The high-voltage discharge method comprises the steps that a central processing unit obtains the momentary power outage voltage of an energy storage unit collected by a voltage acquisition unit when the motor controller suffers from high-voltage power outage; the central processing unit determines whether the momentary power outage voltage is higher than a safe voltage threshold value or not; and if so, the central processing unit controls a switch unit to be started so as to discharge the energy stored by the energy storage unit through a resistor which is connected in series with the switch unit. Therefore, according to the active resistive type discharging method, the high-voltage discharging mode can be started only when the voltage of the energy storage unit at the high-voltage line end is higher than the safe voltage threshold value, so that the energy consumption of the motor controller in an normal operation is effectively reduced; the controllability of the resistive type discharging is improved; and meanwhile, the safety of the high-voltage discharge is improved as well.
