Abstract

The invention provides a flow editor-based flow scheme and flow chart translation mechanism, wherein two overlapping modes are defined based on the conversion between the flow scheme and the flow chart of a live and bounded free selection system. For one overlapping mode, a formal conversion method for copying related activities is provided, and the equivalence property of the conversion is demonstrated based on the concurrent regular expression of the Petri network. For the other overlapping mode, the application range of the related activity copying method is shown for the conversion between the flow scheme and the flow chart. The embodiments of the invention realizes the conversion management for the generation of the flow chart on a flow editing interface based on statistical items, editable scheme lists and corresponding to-be-processed data that are automatically grabbed by the system. On one hand, a flexible and convenient operation interface is provided for the administrator of the system. On the other hand, the translation mechanism of the workflow process is fully utilized.
