Abstract

The method comprises: two video frames are extracted from a video frame sequence of a mining belt and a gray scale difference value between pixel points of the two video frames at corresponding positions in a preset belt detection area is calculated, so that a corresponding gray scale difference image is obtained; averaging is carried out on gray scale values of all pixel points of the gray scale difference image in a belt detection area to obtain a detection quantity value; the detection quantity value is compared with a preset threshold value to determine a working state of the mining belt. According to the technical scheme, non-contact detection of the mining belt is realized, so that a problem that the working state detection result is affected because the reflective layer on the mining belt is covered by mineral aggregates in the prior art can be solved.
