Abstract

The invention discloses an integral air conditioner and a control method thereof. The integral air conditioner comprises a chassis, an electric control box, a compressor, a throttling device, an indoor heat exchanger, an outdoor heat exchanger and a heat dissipation device, wherein the heat dissipation device comprises a first refrigerant flow path and a second refrigerant flow path which are connected between the outdoor heat exchanger and the throttling device in parallel, and further comprises a radiator and a flow control part; the radiator is connected on the first refrigerant flow path in series; and the flow control part can control flow of the first refrigerant flow path and the second refrigerant flow path. According to the integral air conditioner provided by the invention, effective heat dissipation can be carried out on a part to be subjected to heat dissipation; when the temperature of a refrigerant flowing through the heat dissipation device is too low, the flow of the refrigerant flowing through the radiator can be decreased; and during refrigeration operation, the refrigerant flowing into the radiator is not throttled, and the refrigerant in the radiator is prevented from being too cold, so that condensation on the part to be subjected to heat dissipation is avoided, and the operation reliability of the system is improved.
