Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a virtual network (VN) topology construction method and device. The method comprises determining a target node, determining a node currently arranged at the end as a first node, and determining whether other nodes exist in a first scope having the target node as the center of circle, and a first threshold as the radius, wherein the nodes are not among the nodes which are in a second scope having the target node as the center of circle, and a second threshold as the radius; if other nodes exist in a first scope, determining whether a link exists between two nodes; if a link does not exist between two nodes, according to a cost benefit value and a preset third threshold, determining whether a link needs to be added between the two nodes; if a link needs to be added between the two nodes, adding a link; determining whether a current node is a first node; if the current node is a first node, determining whether the first threshold is less than the diameter of a target VN; and if the first threshold is less than the diameter of a target VN, increasing the value of the second threshold, and repeating the step of determining a target node. According to the embodiment, a network average path length (APL) is decreased, and thereby network time delay is reduced.
