Abstract

The annular casing treatment structure is arranged at a position, close to the front edge of an impeller, of the inner side face of a compressor shell. An outwardly extending air outlet structure is arranged on the outer periphery of the annular casing treatment structure. A valve is mounted on the air outlet structure. When the impeller of the compressor is approximately in a stall condition, tip leaked air flow flows out via the annular casing treatment structure, the stable working range of the compressor is broadened effectively, and accordingly, the tip leaked air flow is guided to the exterior of the compressor through a one-way guide valve. Different from conventional casing treatment structures which re-guide the leaked air flow into an inlet of the compressor, the casing treatment structure of the centrifugal compressor volute directly guides the air flow to the exterior of the compressor, so that the interference effect of the high-entropy leaked air flow on incoming flow is reduced effectively, and the stable working range of the compressor is further widened.
