Automatic identification of an alternating-current sampling communication port function and a local communication port function can be realized by utilizing RS485II; a RS485II communication parameter is set; a terminal universal communication address is added into an acquisition terminal; a data source is received through RS485II; and the data source is judged. By means of the method disclosed by the invention, the labour intensity of assembly line workers can be greatly reduced; investment of the assembly line workers can be reduced; the detection cost can be reduced; furthermore, the unmanned automatic detection of the acquisition terminal assembly line can be realized; and reliable technical support is provided for construction of the acquisition terminal assembly line in various provincial metering centres.
