Problems solved by technology

According to the survey of a large number of coastal protection forests, the existing windbreak forests have single species composition, simple structure, many diseases and insect pests, low productivity, and weak forest protection efficiency
Although the ecological environment has been treated for many years, its deterioration trend has not been fundamentally reversed so far due to climate warming and environmental interference from energy and petrochemical industries.
The ecological environment of coastal windbreak forests is fragile, it is difficult to plant forests, the investment is large, and the operation and management are complicated, which has become a difficult point in the management of coastal windbreak forests

Embodiment

[0026] The method for transforming low-efficiency windbreak forests on the east coast of Zhejiang Province based on the functional characteristics of trees provided by this example is implemented in Panshan Forest District (290°46'N, 121°48'E), Yinzhou District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, with an altitude of 400m and a zonal The soil is red soil. The area is located at the eastern end of the central part of the subtropical zone. Affected by the oceanic monsoon climate, it is warm and humid with an average annual temperature of 16.2°C and an average temperature of 4.1°C in the coldest month. The average annual precipitation is 1386mm and the annual relative humidity is 82%. From July to October every year, it suffers an average of 2-3 tropical storms.

[0027] Historically, the Panshan forest area has been a place for local residents to log for salary. The forest has been almost completely cut down, and the vegetation has been degraded into barren hills and secondary bushe...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for reconstructing low-efficiency windbreaks in the east of Zhejiang east coast based on tree functional traits. The method comprises following steps: firstly, dividing the windbreaks in the east of Zhejiang into two wind-proof areas including a wind-blowing area and a wind-resisting area; sequentially analyzing functional traits of wind-proof species with advantages at different offshore distances and community wind speed reduction coefficients, diagnosing wind-proof efficiency of plants based on wind-proof functional traits of plants and analysis of regression of community wind speed reduction coefficients such that target specie libraries with wind-proof capability can be filtered; screening target trees with wind-proof functions suitable for different site conditions combined with growth preference characteristics of plants. By taking steps such as reconstruction, selective cutting, under-forest after-culture, nourishment and culture management of target trees, windbreaks with complete structures, stability and health and high efficiency are reconstructed finally. The method for reconstructing low-efficiency windbreaks in the east of Zhejiang based on tree functional traits has following beneficial effects: adaptable plants in different mountain environments can be easily and accurately selected so that input into management and reconstruction of forest is reduced; and advantages such as many target trees with wind-proof functions, good growth, quick recovery and high efficiency are obtained.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for ecological restoration of mountain forests, in particular to a method for transforming low-efficiency windbreak forests along the coast of eastern Zhejiang based on the functional properties of trees. Background technique [0002] my country's mainland coastline is as long as 18,340 km, and the coastal area is 3.1 billion hm -2 , accounting for 3.2% of the total land area of the country. The coastal area has a developed economy, a high level of urbanization, and a large population density. It is the "locomotive" driving the rapid economic and social development of our country. At the same time, the region is prone to natural disasters, often facing threats such as typhoons, salt stress and storm surges. A·GD ayenport, a world-renowned wind engineering expert, pointed out according to the statistical analysis of the United Nations that more than 50% of natural disasters are related to wind. Especially in the so...
