Abstract

The invention discloses a superconducting cyclotron for producing radioisotopes. The superconducting cyclotron comprises a cyclotron housing and a vacuumizing device; a vacuum chamber is formed in the cyclotron housing, and communicates with the vacuumizing device; a target system, a D-shaped box and two groups of magnetic units respectively arranged at the top and the bottom of the vacuum chamber are arranged in the vacuum chamber; the target system and the D-shaped box are respectively positioned between the two groups of magnetic units; the target system is arranged at the outer side edge of the D-shaped box; the D-shaped box is connected with an ion introducing device; and a proton capturing and exporting device is arranged on the side wall of the cyclotron housing. The superconducting cyclotron provided by the invention is small in occupied space, so that the size of the cyclotron can be reduced, and meanwhile, the production efficiency of the cyclotron is improved. Due to the use of superconducting magnets, a radiation space is reduced, so that the use amount of a shielding material is greatly reduced, thereby significantly reducing the production cost and the operation cost.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a superconducting cyclotron for producing radioactive isotopes, which belongs to the field of medical equipment. Background technique [0002] In recent years, with the continuous development of nuclear medicine, more and more molecular imaging techniques are used clinically. PET examination technology is widely used in hospitals and has become one of the most effective physical examination methods today. Electronic tracers are essential drugs for PET inspections, and the radionuclides used to produce electronic tracers are basically produced by medical proton cyclotrons. The theoretical basis is that high-energy protons bombard specific nuclei and produce proton-neutron React to form a new short-lived radionuclide, and then chemically label this new nuclide on physiological metabolites, which is the tracer required for PET inspection. However, since the radionuclide production device involves various aspects of knowledge suc...
