This invention discloses a method for protecting beam measurement signals in a cyclotron accelerator, comprising: suppression of coupled high-frequency signals in the accelerator under normal conditions: measuring and adjusting the parameters of the first set of series resonant circuits S21 using a network analyzer, so that the frequency corresponding to the lowest point of S21 is equal to the accelerator's high-frequency frequency f0, and satisfying S21 < -30dB; calibration of the capacitor rotation angle scale range before abnormal condition monitoring; transmission line oscillation monitoring under abnormal conditions: setting the speeds of the first set of motors and the second set of motors, so that the first set of motors and the second set of motors drive the capacitor to move within the calibrated rotation angle scale range; transmission line oscillation control under abnormal conditions: when the signal interlocking device detects a high level input, the interlocking signal prohibits the output of the high-frequency system signal source and the operation of the power source, and the accelerator high-frequency system stops operating; this invention solves the problems of the beam measurement device being greatly interfered with by the accelerator's high-frequency signals and being greatly interfered with by unexpected transmission line oscillations.

The present application relates to the technical field of cyclotron voltage control, and specifically to a method and device for controlling the accelerating voltage of a medical cyclotron. The method comprises: dividing the alternating voltage signal into three stages according to the sudden change of the alternating voltage signal within a conversion cycle; analyzing the periodic fluctuations of the high-level stage and the low-level stage, the rate of change of the transition edge stage, and the degree of disorder of the change, to obtain the control intervention degree of the conversion cycle; obtaining an adjustment coefficient according to the stage to which the voltage amplitude at the same moment in the alternating voltage signal at the current moment in the previous conversion cycle belongs; and obtaining a control proportional coefficient at the current moment by combining the change in magnetic field intensity at the current moment, the adjustment coefficient, and the control intervention degree of the previous conversion cycle at the current moment, and performing feedback control on the alternating voltage signal. The present application can improve the control accuracy of the accelerating voltage of a medical cyclotron.

Then, a beam path in the cyclotron (10) is determined for a default operation mode and at least one beam path in the cyclotron (10) is determined for a cavity failure mode in which the radio-frequency cavity (14, 16) of one or more of the sectors (12) is not operational. A position of an extraction device (20) of the cyclotron (10) within the sectors (12) is calculated based on the determined beam paths, and the extraction device (20) is placed at the calculated position. Further, a cyclotron (10) and a method for operating a cyclotron (10) is described.
