A system for automatically locking a control laser in a Rydberg atomic sensor may comprise an atomic vapor cell, a probe laser configured to excite the atoms in the atomic vapor cell to an intermediate energy state, and a control laser configured to excite the one or more atoms in the atomic vapor cell from the intermediate energy state to a higher energy state. The light generated by the control laser may be dithered at a pre-determined frequency. The system further comprises a photodiode configured to convert light received from the vapor cell into an electrical signal, a lock-in amplifier configured to generate an error signal based on the electrical signal received from the photo diode and a received reference oscillation frequency, and a servo configured to receive the generated error signal from the lock-in amplifier and adjust a frequency of the control laser based on the received error signal.

This invention relates to the field of nuclear radiation detection technology, and more particularly to an energy spectrum processing method for a quasi-hemispherical CdZnTe detector. The method includes: acquiring the raw signal collected by the quasi-hemispherical CdZnTe detector; normalizing the amplitude of the raw signal from the baseline to the highest point during the rise phase; dynamically selecting multiple energy thresholds; performing rise time discrimination on the normalized signal within each energy threshold; filtering out signals with rise times greater than RTflag and determining the rise time range corresponding to that energy threshold; constructing an intermediate energy spectrum corresponding to each energy threshold based on the signals with rise times greater than RTflag and the rise time range; and post-processing the intermediate energy spectrum to obtain the target energy spectrum corresponding to each energy threshold. This invention combines energy threshold discrimination, rise time discrimination, and energy spectrum post-processing algorithms to stably improve the energy resolution of the quasi-hemispherical CdZnTe detector for 662 keV gamma rays from the conventional 2%~3% to less than 1%.
