Abstract

The invention aims to propose a method for calculating transmission loss of a vehicle door subsystem equipped with seal strips. Compared with the prior art, the method comprises the steps of firstly, building finite element models of the seal strips and an acoustic cavity based on first engineering software, setting material attributes and boundary conditions of the seal strips and the acoustic cavity, and performing modal analysis; secondly, building an FE-SEA hybrid model of the seal strips and calculating transmission loss of the seal strips; and thirdly, building a vehicle door SEA model, and analyzing the influence of the acoustic performance of the seal strips on transmission loss of a vehicle door, thereby quickly and accurately obtaining high-frequency transmission loss in the seal strips. Furthermore, the design of the seal strips is guided by performing comparative analysis on the first seal strip, the second seal strip and the transmission loss during simultaneous mounting of the two seal strips, and considering the influence of the acoustic performance of the seal strips on the transmission loss of the vehicle door under three different conditions.
