Abstract

The invention provides a remote network management method based on B / S architecture. The method is based on a web page server. The method comprises the steps that a network configuration information operation instruction sent by a browser client is received; according to the network configuration information operation instruction, a NetworkManager management tool is called; the management tool responds to the network configuration information operation instruction; and a response result is returned to the browser client. The invention further discloses a remote network management system which comprises the browser client and the web page server. According to the invention, a user can inquire and manage the network configuration information of the server through the browser client at the far end; the network configuration information is transmitted in an agreed JSON data format; the user can acquire and manage the network information of an operation system through the browser client; and effective and convenient network management is realized.
